• Must be a least 25 years old
• Must complete an application and submit a $50.00 (non-refundable) application fee
• Must successfully complete a 9 month-internship
• Must pay a one-time initiation fee of $350.00 (non-refundable) to cover your Butterfly Survival Kit--(includes your vest, license plate, butterfly T-shirt, patch, certificate, and annual calendar) after you successfully complete your internship
• Must sign a commitment form (which states you agree to actively participate in all Butterfly fundraisers & events)
• Must sign a confidentiality form (which states all butterfly information will be kept confidential and will not be discuss by any persons outside the Black Butterflies Organization)
• Must attend a volunteer hosted by Greater Philadelphia Cares
• Must commit to volunteer for at least the minimum amount of annual hours established by the Board of Directors
• Must obtain an email address
• Must formulate an alternate name for use within the organization
• Must be open to experience the true essence of SISTERHOOD
